Out and about
Said good bye to my beautiful daughter and stayed over in the city one night before heading off to my accommodation, ready for my glass casting class for next week. Still can't believe I don't have to go back to a 9-5 job.
I am not a city person but do love people watching. Sitting outside at a cafe in Federation Square, yummy food and a cold, sparkling mojito keeping me company I watched a Latin Dancing School teaching passers by. Great music, patient teachers and some awesome foot and bodywork.
I slowly wandered towards my hotel and stopped at a small Italian cafe to have a dessert and glass of Sangovese. The city is alive, another dance class happing in city square and how about these amazing yarn bombed trees?

A week of getting up to an alarm, cuddling dogs and driving (as in being a passenger being driven by a driving friend) into Blue Dog Glass each day with a lovely and very generous glass buddy. Coffee, paying attention, planning, maths, weighing, pouring, waiting, eating, watching, more coffee, questions, answers...... Had a wonderful time and each day came with the excitement of kiln opening and the reveal of finished work, got to say I love it.

Last day in Melbourne before getting back to my new home. Breakfast at a little Italian coffee place, sitting at my favourite window spot, eating, drinking coffee and watching the day unfold. This was my view while waiting for my mushroom on sourdough to arrive. Ciao.
